Sulfameth/Trimethoprim side effects. Anything I can do?

I'm having unwanted side effects for an antibiotic being used to treat a skin infection on my foot. I went to urgent care on Sunday and took my first round of medication that night. Two pills, twice daily. My problem is that I probably got a total three hours of sleep last night and the night before was similar. I feel my pulse throughout my entire body and it feels like my heart is going to jump from my chest. My head won't 'quit'. I have an extreme anxious feel, constantly.


Is there anything I can do or take to counteract these side effects? Am I able to take a sleep aid. I work in a factory.... being ill rested isn't going to work.
