Last year on my birthday I got alot more Spongebob stuff.. I felt like a kid..it was cool.
I agree with their production being grade A. That's the first thing I really appreciated about Rage was how well produced they were.
"Sleep now in the fire" is an awesome song, I need to download...
NIN HAD some good stuff, I especially liked a lot of the songs on Fragile, but I will happily agree that the downward spiral was excellent. The backround story on its production is too.
:shycouch:
Evidence yes, but I never liked the Metal Observer to begin with. They gave Hate Eternal's - I,Monarch a 5/10. They know little.
Gone But not Forgotten :yeah:
Er, I chose Staind over St. Lunatics, yes. Not over rap.
Their new album .. I don't really know how to describe it. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it yet.
eh fair enough but still id have to disagree, ah well
sorry but that video is no longer there
I'd say In FLames - Whoracle

MA is good for fact-checking and that's about it.
I consider rab to be funeral doom due to the pace, the song structure (mostly long, dreary guitar lines), and lyrical content. But as I said, rab...
I love Slayer but Kerry's soloing is rather sloppy, Kirk always made better solos, though Kerry is better with riRAB and rhythm.... So i have to agree that Kerry isn't better than Kirk persay, of...
I think it's because a lot of the earlier movement banRAB site Velvet Underground as an "influence", but then again, who didnt listen to the Velvet Underground, and who didnt they influence? I've...
I suppose so, but CAVEMAN is a better aggravator.
Going to work at Way Out West in a few weeks. Will hopefully see The Stooges, Paul Weller, M.I.A, Pavement, LCD SounRABystem, Mumford & Sons, if I have time between shifts.
Ah, Wipers are fantastic! And I think I'll be revisiting the Pixies before seeing them this March.
My week in music:

I think one of the things that makes him so special is that, even though he is hugely influential, nobody who came after him has really ever been able to replicate his style. It's pretty impressive...
I agree the new Mars Volta and Alexisonfire can't compete with their last albums but I don't think they're bad in the least. I do need to digest them a little more though. Each has only gotten a...
Closing time?
Dude Fagen has a great voice. In my mind it's one of the more under-appreciated voices in music, because while he doesn't use it in a show-offy way he actually is a pretty decent singer.
Same here. I say yes. For practically the same reasons. I like his playing, but he doesn't do all that much for me. But he HAS done a lot for many many others and I respect that. I yes from me. He...
Revised!
1990: Artillery - By Inheritance
1991: Heathen - Victims of Deception
1992: Alice in Chains - Dirt
1993: Atheist - Elements
1994: Paul Van Dyk - 45 RPM

That sound wonderful. Mind showing me a bit more of his work? ;)
I love that album to bits but I do miss the prog and electronica elements. I guess that period is over for them. :(
I think it's pretty mediocre save In The Evening.
It's like they were...
