Did any one watch the ATHF Marathon on Halloweeen night?
Yeah, me too.
This actually says very little. The only band I would consider buying an album from on that list is Radiohead.
HIM sucks
I get the whole "let's make fun of emo kiRAB" thing.
But wading through bodies?
There's a time when you have to realize you've gone too far.
You're just about to cross that boundary.
Good drumming doesn't make a band original, we don't call Slipknot original and Jordinson is frequently hailed as a good drummer even from people who don't listen to Slipknot.
Hahaha
...
while i do enjoy a nuraber of their songs, they're not exactly a band that wows me
i think that gones 'n' roses whould have been better if axel had of f*cked off.slash is the best though
True but he was still pretty big in the early 90s. I think the only other wrestler who compared in popularity was Bret The Hitman.
I do know that he was huge in the 80s though, hell he had his own...
I got the red album several weeks ago and haven't been able to get into it. It's too reminiscent of 90s alt metal for my tastes and I've found I just can't sit through it without wanting to put...
I've only heard of the last 2.. and I gotta say, I freakin love Bayside mayn..
The Stone Roses are often credited with starting the genre and almost always seen as a root source of the scene.
pfft, everyone knows that David Bowie started heavy metal.
n00blet
I don't mind the music so much as I hate the guys growl. Awful.
:yeah: :tramp:  You're the coolest Satchmo, lol.
Thankyou everyone for helping me to get a brief glimpse of this crazy metal world!
Rhapsody - Holy Thunderforce.
Phenomenal song. Epic Metal at its best.
Haha, that is a durab line, but I like that song.
yeah, they suck. The only song I ever thought was ok of theirs wasn't even really their song. George Michael's Faith cover was decent, at least for limp bizcut, or however you spell it.
^^
Dokken? Touche ;)
Oh! How could i forget Meddle? The track "echoes" alone is worth the buy, a beautiful song.

Alice in Chains has to be my favorite "Grunge" band from the 90's. Heck if I put enough...
Blasted through the speakers lately:

Great album. Vadim's more recent albums haven't done much for me, but I do enjoy The Art of Listening.

PJ Harvey - Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea
...
Ugh, Tool fans.
"Man, Tool is so weird in a good way. No other band has songs that long."
