Picking a favorite song would be impossible for me if you consider how expansive their discography is. Though from that era in particular the song As If By Magic seems to stand out.

Daydream Nation was my start but it took a few spins - spread out over some time - to really enjoy it. I think it's a bit too long for a starter album.
