Yes, aired about 3 weeks ago. 4th eps comes out this Thursday I think. There is also an OVA that bridges the last season over to the new one too.

I'm not sure where I stand on triggers being cheating for sure but I'd say that you can't really compare them to guitar pedals...unless you're using triggers strictly for reproduced sound of a drum...
