A family of 4 lives in a round house. The family consists of a mother, a father, a brother, and a sister. One day, the family dog is found stabbed in the basement and it's clear one of the 4 family members is the murderer. However, the mother was away on business when the dog was stabbed so she is by default not guilty. She then investigates each of the family members to find out who did it by asking them for their alibis. The father says "I was in the kitchen cutting up carrots when it happened." The sister says "I was in the corner of the family room reading a magazine when it happened." The brother says "I was upstairs playing video games when it happened." After listening to all of their alibis, the mother realizes one of them was lying and that that person was the one who killed the dog. Whodunit?
