I think she is well on her way...
give her a nice pair of spectacles and a plaid housecoat.. and voila!
Brush her gently, slightly, tenderly, and knowingly.
I had a cat who brought me a breakfast mouse every morning. He didn't care for Keats, but often nestled by The Complete Works of William Shakespeare. He probably would have smoked a pipe if I'd let him have the Complete Sherlock Holmes a bit more often.
1. Give her lists of words ending in -ow or -ew.
2. Remember that she understands far more words in English than do you in Felinese.
3. Speak to her in verse when possible.
4. Practice purring to give her a sense that you are trying as well to broaden the cultural bonds between you.
5. Some nice catnip paper and tuna ink in her pens might help as well.
