    There are tricks of course, but there are tricks for key locks as well (lock picking). They're about just as safe. Also, if a thief sees a lock on the bike, then they wont even bother trying to steal it.

    Are combination bike locks safe?

    I've always been a fan of key locks, but sometimes it's such a pain to drag the key along with me especially when I'm just out to do an errand. Are there any tricks that thieves use to easily guess the combo on the lock, and can i put my own code for the lock?
