blue tooth is just used to transfer data from one device to another each phone is a bit different but usually your enable bluetooth on both devices set one to discovery mode and the other youll tell to search once the discover eachother youll have to save the device then you can just go to the file you want to transfer and send using bluetooth
you do not need to have a valid sim or even an activated phone to use bluetooth
    hope this helps

    How do I use bluetooth?

I've never used bluetooth before...does my cellphone SIM card have to be valid in order to send items to it via bluetooth?
