I need help big time! AT&T canceled my sim card (old Cingulare one) when I tried out a Blackberry phone with them. Now that I have mailed the BB back to them they say they can't get my Nokia 6230 to work again. I got them to agree to pay the cost to replace it... but I really like this phone and want to know if they are telling me the truth or even if the person I spoke to knows what they are saying. When you put a good new sim card in it..... it tells you to put in a "restriction code". AT&T didn't seem to know what was the code and I don't recall ever having changed any pin # of any kind in it since it was new to me. I purchased phone from Cingulare in July '05. Note they did point out to me today that the phone has no name on it except "Nokia". So why it doesn't have "Cingular" on it I don't know. Any ideas???
