PQ of TSN2 HD

Im watching the Sharks - Stars game on the network in HD and the PQ is looking both soft and looks to have some artifacting going on

Can anyone give me a double take on this

It's either TSN2's fault or Bell TV's fault, but have you checked your HDTV setting on Bell TV? You have to set it to 720p or 1080i. Just in case, I don't think you don't know this.

Yeah i have my Setting on 1080i, took a look at 720 too and it made no difference what so ever

I could swear the picture quality has gotten worse as the game has went on too

I think it may be the TSN or VS feed. As its poor on both Bell & Starchoice.

don't foget it could be versus (the network that carrying the game) versus has never been good with video quality.

It's Versus, usally TSN2 has even better PQ than TSN.

Yeah it looks to be Versus, Ducks - Sabers game is on in like 5 minutes and the pregame show even looks noticeably soft

I think TSN2's pq is a mix of both Bell and Versus. The Ducks/Sabres game looked really dark and soft in the first two periods. It did look a little brighter in the third. However, the Raptors game that followed also didn't look as good as it did when originally shown on TSN. Possibly a mix of both resulting in poor pq.
