I believe in the name of cost reduction. The new seats do have a lower profile with more back support, so that's kinda cool. Going along with the cost reduction thing, look at the new floor boards. Now they're a two-piece design instead of a three-piece.

On the older ones the black rubber mounted to a chrome plate, and that assembly was mounted on the bottom chrome plate. Now it's just an upper rubber plate that pops on to the lower chrome plate. Kind of nice that it's bigger though...

I did too. WOT to about 4000-4500 a bunch of times in the first 20-30 miles (time it took to get from SJ HD to Redwood City).

I'm a big believer in the Mototune break-in method.

2011 Street Glide with "Power Pack" eval

I just recently bought the new 103 glide . I was more interested in a bigger motor just for the fact that me and my wife aren't little spring chickens anymore. I'm still waiting for my backrest and hers with 4 point docking, which is going to happen monday just 2 weeks after I bought it. There was only 2 2011 glides on the floor when I bought mine a cvo and the 103. Those two went the same day. A guy came in on the way to Sturgis and bought the cvo and I bought the 103 in the same day. The 103 has great power for me anyway
it has 290 miles on it now and the ride seems comfortable. I'm getting ready to head up to minnesota from St Louis in a couple weeks or so. I'm stoked. This has been a long time coming. Sorry for the rambling guess I'm in a good mood

2011 Street Glide with "Power Pack" eval

How much did the power pak cost you? I am looking at a 2010 Street Glide that the dealer has for sale that the 1st owner sold back to the dealer with only 1200 miles on it and lots of upgrades already including a oil cooler. I am trying to decide if I should do that, or buy a 2011 with the power pak. Is it that much different in power to make it worth the extra money I would be spending. That is really the only reason I would buy the 2011, well, beside the new cinnamon color that I think looks really nice.

    >>I decide to go by the dealer today and ask some questions about the power pack...i.e. how much boost on the torque and whether the cam was upgraded from the stock 96. Got my answers...claimed 10+ percent increase in torque and no change in the cam.
