    When a NASCAR driver wins a...

    ...race ? Does he get to keep all the prize money or does he split with the owner ?

    I depends on the driver's contract how it is divided between the team and the driver. Most drivers make a base salary and then get around 40% of the purse.

    the driver gets a big percentage of the winnings..but yes it gets split between the driver and team owner!

    It is split up. A drivers contract determines the winning drivers Percentage of the winning Purse!!!!!!!
