It's a great album don't get me wrong. But I'd say that Sabbath Bloody Sabbath has the best mix of progressive and heavy elements.

Anyway, what are your favorites on Vol 4? My favorite is Cornucopia, which has possibly the most kickass Sabbath riff ever.

Definitely, it's a very short album - but it's excellent!

Well said. While I find most debut albums not as good as the later ones, I think that the debut is the most arabitious, the rawest sounding ones, and is a very good indicator of what sort of direction the band will go in.
