Hey this topic had exactly the same effect on me... I am now averaging a good, decent three hour or three album block once the litte'uns are in bed... May change next week though when I go back to my 5:30am wake ups when my other job starts up...

There's always music playing at my work... it's just that its generally not my preference... ah well!
loving music doesn't necessarily mean being obnoxious about it you know
Even so i think if i just listened to music all day i would get sick of it, i envy people that can listen to that much music and still enjoy it, i wish i could.
3-4 hours, depending. Soundtracks to housework or projects seriously up the song count.
Probably not as much as most people here, though recently I've been keeping myself very busy with it. On a working day, I probably listen somewhere from 4 to 10 hours. On days off, sometimes I don't bother, but lately I've been listening to 4 or 5 hours.
I have a pair of headphones that hurt my ears to wear for longer than about 2 hours, so I listen to music off and on over the course of a day if I'm not at work.
In my experience, if you can't stand listening to more than x amount of music a day you're clearly not listening to the right music. If I had the chance I would always be listening.
Why would you be playing metalcore in the first place when you could be listening to Technical Death Metal? :|
Edit: I listen to around 5 hours of music a day, but I usually go for listening to an album that's hard to get into, and listen to that for the rest of the day. Whereareas I'll listen to a catchier, upbeat single when I'm in an ecstatic mood.
She racks disciprinn.
Seeing as how im in the studio 60% of the day probably 6hrs a day
