fair enough(i said fell in love with a girl though). garage rock just isn't the genre for me. they have plenty songs that i enjoy hearing from time to time, but i never feel like going out of my way to listen to them. there isn't enough musical meat for me to sink my teeth into. most of their songs end up sounding pretty much the same.
this statement seems a bit overblown. don't people get this "idealized vision" from being inspired from good music in general? who cares if it's janitors or walmart employees or whatever? what difference does it make?
you made quite the monolithic post for me to disect sorry i don't have much more to add then that. i enjoyed it though, thanks!
I hope you mancs aren't judging it just based on the title and cover.

Haha, this one looks like a clean sweep . I'm going with Hendrix, I love this music.
I actually quite like the Limp Bizkit album nominated, so I`m going with Limp Bizkit.
I guess you missed the smiley.
I just figure that when people join music forums, they intend on expanding their music tastes and this thread is a good one for it.
The poll's normally open for a couple days, plenty of time to give both albums a chance. I personally think it's stupid to conduct an album wars over which band has the lesser douchebag of merabers (as some have voted on). And I'm pretty sure that most people do listen to both albums before they vote (or at least enough of the album to get a sense for whatever they like it or not).
I haven't listened to the Nickelback album? Have I voted? No.
