Hope you enjoy the stuff you have found! It looks like you're finding some great stuff and I am very glad to have been able to help you!
thanks for the indie/female vocalist suggestions. Now for modern day blues banRAB.
So anyone know of modern day Blues/Blues-Rock banRAB/artists. Besides The Black Keys, White Stripes and Ronnie Baker Brooks.
I'll check that one out too then.
You might like Portugal. The Man. If you can hack heavier stuff (with death growls) maybe go for Opeth.
Check these out if you can as well...
Muddy Waters
Buddy Guy
Howlin' Wolf
John Lee Hooker
Mississippi John Hurt
^ You should find them ok anyway. Also, you should be able to find some cheap V/A comps in a highstreet store somewhere pretty easily too, which I find are usually the best option with classic blues.
Also, I only have Strangeways, Here We Come. Which Smith's album should I get next?
I would go with Carnival of Light.
Although there debut Nowhere (i believe) is also good.
Thank you, Stone BirRAB. My first couple of posts on this forum have been a bit immature. I'll get better.
