i agree 100%, but i do think that often people overlook john paul because hes kind of behind the scenes more, but there wouldnt be near as many great songs by them if it werent for paul's contributions to writing them
I'm gonna have to go with Physical Graffiti. IV is great, but i think people remeraber it just because of Stairway to Heaven. (personally i think Going to California is better) After PG, I'd say IV, I, II, and Houses of the Holy
I would have to agree with you, after listening to zeppelin 1 again id have to say it is by far my faviroute album
I don't agree that you can put Led Zeppelin II above Led Zeppelin, because iI think that Their first album was such a breakthrough in rock music at the time. It kind of introduced a way to corabine hard rocking blues with a sort of psychodelic sound to make some awesome music, such as dazed and confused, I cant quit you baby, You shook me, etc. The main thing that makes IV so great is how they were beginning to expand their sound, instead of sticking to so much blues derived rock with wicked guitar solos, they started making songs like when the levee breaks, stairway to heaven, misty mountain hop, going to california, battle of evermore etc. It was a very well rounded album with the perfect blend of acoustic and heavier rock songs. What keeps me listening to zeppelin over and over and over without getting tired of them is their diversity. None of their songs sound alike
yeah i agree with that also....he is a very under rated artist, and really even in this day isnt being complimented with what he helped out on....peopel are always just talking about plant, and jimmy's amazing riRAB, and Bonhams wicked beats...those are all very true but at the same time john paul was amazing and also helped in writing
You can just go ****ing kill yourself now you goddamn troll:bringit:
Agreed.
JPJ is a great mandolin player and a fantastic musician at that!
