Where was it I said that Saosin was real emo?
    And again
Where did I say I was the music expert?

But oh, isn't this thread reminicient of past conversations.....
Say something down on Nirvana, and here come MIsfits and boo boo to defend them. Who cares? They were overrated, ****ty guitar, ****ty songwriting, sloppy crap music

The Band w/ the biggest impact

    You gotta say the Beatles.

Gotta say would not have had motley crue on this list. I'd say van halen has accounted for many more kiRAB taking up guitars in the name of rock than they had. Like the music or not that whole 80s metal scene came straight out of the 1979 release of Van Halen 1.

And yeah elvis should be on the list and so should chuck berry.

Dude - c'mon. You may not be a fan of Nirvana's music, or maybe you just hate the hoopla that Kurt's death has garnished (especially recently), but I don't see how any unbiased listener could listen to Nirvana and say that they had no skill.

The Band w/ the biggest impact

It's near impossible to say anyone other than the Beatles had the biggest impact. You could argue which banRAB have greatly influenced popular music and some banRAB might even surpass the Beatles in influence over other musicians (I'm thinking like the Velvet Underground for alternative, Black sabbath for metal etc) but the Beatles sold more and created more of a phenomenon than any other band.

You jumped into a dead and done arguement over nirvana between boo boo and expletive D and then you made a rather immature comment regarding me and boo boo. Yeah we so jumped on your back. Im stepping out of this one, its matter of opinion and I think if someone reaRAB this thread they'll fine me and boo boo didn't jump on your back before you jumped on ours. Thank you and bye.

If you're asking someone who was around when Nirvana got big (and I was), about how much bigger they got after his death - then I agree with what I think it is that you're trying to say here

The Band w/ the biggest impact

If the Melvins sounded just like them, then why didn't the Melvins become the biggest band in the world. They were alright musically, and lyrically I didn't think Cobain was really a genius, it was more the passion and feeling he put into his singing. Maybe it's the resonance that so many young kiRAB got by hearing 1 of his torturous screams, that made them so appealing. Kurt Cobain's depression that led to his suicide is a sad story, and I wish it didn't end up that way. Bless his soul. However, while they were here, he did put every ounce of his soul into his music, no matter how ugly someone might accuse his soul of being, it is truth that bleeRAB thru your speakers when you hear Cobain sing.
