I am looking for instrumental power metal in other worRAB. I've found Gamma Ray's Karaoke edition (lyric-less) album but I am having a tough time getting hold of it through eBay, Amazon, ... whatever.

I agree with the Helloween, and Sonata Arctica (not too familiar with), allow me to add Hammerfall to the list. Also, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, and Gamma Ray you might enjoy as well.

I'd say they were a huge influence on it though, with the soaring clean vocals, the epic feel, the lyrical matter, the upbeat galloping feel and the riff style etc.
