Dude, you just contradicted yourself like, 3 times. I love you.

These guys have been getting shoved down my throat lately.
I like them as a live band, but from what I've heard on their recordings it's really dull. The only other thing that makes me cringe is the vocalist's antics on stage. Other than that, I think they're a fair solid band on the whole, they just need time to evolve.
I know. I can't turn on my Sirius without being beaten over the head by Cage the Elephant tracks. They're exploding. I think they've got a cool sound, actually, but I've yet to give them a serious listen...only sirius listens.
Cage the Elephant. I need to find how to get the Radio version of anrftw. I tried digital download.. they slipped in a normal copy:banghead: ... and all the rest or british release thingys. DRivIng me pretty nuts-o:crazy:
better not let boo boo hear that.
as for putting thier song in a commercial, i don't care either way, plenty of my favorite banRAB have commercials with their songs and that just gives me an excuse to listen to more of their stuff
Yeah man. I heard that song on Sirius months ago. Came home to watch it on Youtube like 50 times over the next week...and then sorta forgot about it. Then two or three days ago I saw heard them on that BorderlanRAB trailer and was like, "Oh hey yeah, that song!"
They definitely have a cool style. Gonna check out Drones of the Valley and I should probably get on their other stuff if you say its good as well.
I was thinking the same thing.... I got the album because I liked Back against the wall, then I seen they were also the guys who did Aint no rest for the wicked.
They do sound like White Stripes... but I am not going to hold that against them. Ill be waiting for their next album, I think they have the ability to do something that stanRAB out more.
Since I heard from this thread they sound decent live... Ill have to check them out if they come to a decent venue near me.
I heard the band perform Ain't No Rest For The Wicked live on Jools Holland and thought it was solid enough to get the album but it's boring diluted blues tinged Rock that lacked real balls. Shame as they seem a little more raw live.
They are F***ing great :]
tbh, after checking out a bunch of their other songs i found some stuff that was ok but really ANRFTW was what stood out to me the most. really though i have to ask where the **** is the slide guitar in the rest of their songs?!
