Yeah that's because he's singing so hard.

It's a great album - its not as heart stoppingly consistent, or consistently great as The Color and the Shape, but it's full of strong tunes, very well written, played and produced and it is by no means overshadowed by their previous work.... it stanRAB up there alongside all of their best stuff!
Aren't you the same guy who used to rant about how horrible Nirvana are all the damn time?
Also you're wrong. Instrumental talent is very important, at least depending on the kind of music. In Nirvanas case it wasn't a necessity. But still, denying the importantance of knowing how to play an instrument is just shallow and stupid.
oh, i don't have it yet, really wanna get it. might go out and buy it this weekend. Best Of you is awesome though. any comparissons with the other albums? which one is it most like?
If you sound like that because you're "singing hard" than you're not a very strong vocalist. You really need to stop trying to argue points you know nothing about. Kurt Cobain from a technical stand point was a very very inferior vocalist to Dave Grohl.
It really is amazing to think a band that spawned from nirvana would become more commercially successful then them.
