i love the Amory Wars. Actually, im still completely confused about most of it.

For those who don't know, the Amory Wars is a comic that claudio wrote, and it takes place over the course of the four (soon to be five =D) albums. its very confusing, and i dont think i can begin to explain it.
i like listening to the albums in order (especially on long car trips or plane rides) and going hey! this makes sense now!

My favorites are Gravemakers & Gunslingers, The Lying Lies & Dirty Secrets of Miss Erica Court, The Crowing, and Delirium Trigger

Heavy at first? It starts off all acousticy, I dare say that I heard the sound of a baby cooing in either the first or second song, then for one song it was heavy (welcome home) then it got poppy for 11 songs with very little prog, and all those 11 songs sounded alike.

Every rock genre has its pop influences, even prog, Yes were greatly influenced by The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Simon & Garfunkel, The ByrRAB, Mamas And The Papas, Burt Bacherach, Frank Sinatra as well as Tin Pan Alley and Ragtime music, which were among the most popular genres around before Rock N Roll came along.

Punk too, i remeraber some punk banRAB listed The Monkees and The Archies among their influences.

I never dug the Amory Wars. I bought Second Stage Turbine Blade and I wound up giving to a friend. Comic books aren't my thing I guess.

Your local indie record store may have it. Hot Topic may have it too if you want to try that.
If not, Amazon.com is sure to have it.

Hahaha. Well maybe you're right, but I'm not sure. I'm comparing it to my high school. Not much is as bad as that. =P
