Since I know at least one of you crazies will have an explanation: what's the story behind the band name?
Yeah he was doing that at the last SP concert i went to, Billy's just full of himself. And dragging United States out to half a f****g hour didnt do them any favours. Still a good gig tho
I meant to say "drawn out", BTW
Someone here asked to choose between The Pumpkins and Zwan.... well, I think the answer would be pretty clear cut... the mutli - huge album juggernaut or the meandering side project that failed...
Ok, so that beuing said, I LOVED the Zwan album, and thought it actually had some really strong solid pop tuns and some excellent playing.
To be honest, Corgan should have just stuck "Smashing Pumpkins" on the cover and run with it - the core of the band was him and Jimmy Chaberlin who are the core of the band now anyways... and probably always really were...
The fact remains, Mary Star of the Sea is a darn good recording.
don't really like them that much
I have so many Smashing Pumpkins favorites (Billy Corgan solo songs not so much)
siva
Hummer (!!!!!)
Disarm (!!!!!)
Mayonaise
Bullet With Butterfly Wings
To Forgive
Ava Adore
The everlasting Gaze (!!!)
stand inside your love
aeroplane flies high
soot and stars
at the age of 15 I finally discovered "guitar music" (opposed to dance/pop) by having to listen to RHCP, HIM, Korn and System of a Down at my frienRAB'.
and Siamese Dream was the first cd I bought then - without anyone introducing the band to me.
and I'm very proud of that
I grew up on new wave so =/ i had hardly heard nirvana till i was 12 13ish.
Anyone but Melissa, after her solo album the women just annoys me
coolness, shall take a look....is Billy Corgans solo stuff any good? i havent heard it...
