Their first 3 or so albums are horrible to the point that I'd rather go listen to a running faucet. The latter 2 showed some signs of improvement but the music just wasn't good enough to keep my attention for more than 2 seconRAB. Seriously overhyped. The Menudo of metal.

Exactly! Though their distinct style hasn't changed from the first till the last album, it has never plunged into repetition, and that's something I really respect.

The end does. But then, the end is just about the same as Soldier Side Intro. And I don't like the beginning of it, so I'd rather just listen to the one on Mezmerize.
There are some good songs on Hypnotize, but I'd have to say I liked Mezmerize better.

Just recently got into SOAD. Known about them for a while but never really taken to them. You can't deny BYOB, Chop Suey! and Arieals though.

I do not like SOAD because personally I don't think they are creative. Yes they are original to a small degree, but I feel like I have heard their sound somewhere else before.

i've been to see s.o.a.d live twice and they go up there with the title of 'one of the best live banRAB i've ever seen' along with metallica, maiden, alice cooper ect. they're a great band. static x have never appealed to me and have nothing on s.o.a.d.
