I saw pictures of this anime a while ago but I never got the chance to see it yet. Is it any good and why does the main character...or that guy that has that sword or whoever it is. Why does he look like spike from Cowboy Bebop?

It's kinda like Cowboy Bebop meets... er.. Escaflowne? Basically a Westernized Mech Fantasy show. Really fun to watch. c: I recommend it. Really unique as well.
I liked it pretty good. It was like Trigun with mecha. The revenge-at-any-cost theme reminded me of some of the better westerns, where they explore the effects vengence has on a man's soul.
It's been like 3 years since I've seen. Honestly, I don't remeraber much about it. Yes, it did remind of Trigun though because of the whole Western feel. I think I might watch it again to refresh my memory.
It's Trigun meets Read or Die. I like it.
I blind bought the first two volumes and couldnt even sit through them. It seemed like a huge Trigun rip off to, imho.
It's not really like Trigun. Atleast here the main character isn't a pussy, and actually kills his enemies. The ending was absolutely great. The anime itself is episodic, but has a story to it. Each episode was unique, and fun... If it reserables Trigun, that's a good thing because Trigun was good... Why not have a similar anime to it? But being a total rip off? Nope.
I like this Fantasy show, and i have watch all eposides.
It's Trigun mixed with Cowboy Bebop, really. The main character is a lot less annoying than Vash (who really put me off Trigun for a long time), and the supporting characters are there for a lot more than typical comedy support.
Van's attempt to gain revenge at all costs is quite similar to Spike's in the last couple of episodes of Bebop, but is over a far greater length of time and does deal rather well with the concept of someone so bent on a single goal that he lacks even the desire to address his own issues and those of his companions.
It is still a pretty durab show in many respects, but it's worth watching.
Shadow Fox take my word that anime is just a waste of time if you haven't seen it... so drop it...
