Okay so I start school in the Spring 2011 and classes start in a week. So I accepted a financial aid award (federal direct loan subsid. and unsub.) from the school. After I accepted it, I clicked on something that said 'award payment schedule' and underneath 'expected' showed the date 'Feburary 17, 2011' and I was like what!!! Do I have to pay this semester's full amount of 2k?!?! Do I really have to pay that full amount on that date? Or is this a misconception? Do they mean something different? Because the reason I took the loan out was because I can't afford it. So what makes them think my income can change within 3 weeks? Please help me understand!
