Some cats eat so fast the food puffs up in the stomach and makes them sick in the tummy, so they throw it up. The clear stuff is the saliva she used to swallow the food down.

If she's acting fine and wants to eat later, she'll be ok.

I have not heard about any cat food recall on Iams. They DID have problems with puppy and dog food, a bacteria was in it and causing dogs to throw up. Eukenuba had the same problem with their foods (it may have been corn based, I haven't heard the final word on it yet), but their cat food does not have a recall or reported problems.

You can always check by going to google.com and typing in 'cat food recall 2010'. Any problems go up on the internet fast. You have to check the DATES on these though, since what goes up stays up for over a decade, you only want the current information not old news.

Yep, she's probably fine. Cats and kittens throw up once in a while, especially if they eat too much or too quickly. If she keeps doing it a lot then you should take her to the vet, but once in a while isn't anything to worry about.
