10 Months Old And Still Gagging And Throwing Up!?

I wrote in on this board around 3 Months ago regarding my little one and his refusal to eat anything even partially lumpy and guess what, things have not changed one little bit. I've no idea what to do now, I've tried everything. I know that a lot of people say it will come in time but I'm getting increasingly frustrated with trying and that sounds awful, I dread meal times because it is pretty much guaranteed that there will be a lot of gagging followed by a lot of sick. Sometimes I can get him to eat 3 or 4 mouthfulls of stage 2 (which I have demolished a little more) but always when I think ... right last mouthful now, I'm pushing my luck...sods law he throws up. Should I just give up all together for the time being? The only thing he eats without any problem is yoghurt, but he can't live on them! I've tried baby led also....toast, veg etc but half the time he doesn't like the texture in his hand let alone his mouth! He is still having around 4 bottle's in 24 hours, including one before bed and one at 2am!! Idea's greatly needed for a stressed out mummy!

I feel your frustration, I went through some similar stuff with my son.
You should talk to your pediatrician and have him/her refer you to a feeding Specialist. They can observe your child eating and give you some tips you may not have thought of. It almost sounds like he has an oral aversion. They may advise you to do some sensory type exercises with him to make him more comfortable with textures.
If your son does better with stage one I think I wouldn't push stage 2. My child had some major feeding issues when he started eating. Everything pretty much had to be puree for quite some time. Mashed up bananas, stage 2 sweet potatoes, apple sauce, yogurt was pretty much all he had besides bottles. I avoided all baby food with chunks of stuff like the chicken noodle and vegetable beef.

10 months old and this has been going on 3 months. I would not hesitate to bring him in to a doctor, see what the doctor suggests. There's the chance he could have some sort of medical problem you're unaware of. The doctor should be able to advise you best.
