One last question. Will Cingy program a new sim to my existing phone number? If my SIM is old and I get a new one, how do I get it programed? Will Cingy give me a hard time becuase I still have 2 months left on my contract?
Thanks for everyones input!!
my sister lost her sim once, she got a new one with no charge and programmed it to her number, maybe cingular might just discard the old sim and give you a new one
Cingular can program a SIM to your phone number.
Easiest way is to call them, and that also will make it easier to alleviate the issue of an over zealous sales person at a Cingular location from trying to upgrade you into a new contract.
I've done this before with no issues on several replacement phones (via insurance and warranty repair).
cingy is not a problem when it comes to sims
