moto Q v. mogul v. treo

i need something user-friendly..easy to navigate...something that doesnt crash often and stable...will be using sprint service.

what's important to me:

web with java
email - yahoo and gmail
IM - yahoo

not that important:

mp3, camera, gps, etc

i never use a smartphone, never use pda, never use ppc.

i ordered the mogul 2 days ago..and wonder if this is what i need? im not gonna do anything fancy...just the 3 basic thing listed above.

any other suggestions are welcome.

Java apps will run in WM, but not without an add-on JVM application, and not very smoothly, in my experience. Probably ok if you are the sort who likes to tinker; probably a hassle if you don't.

The native browser (PIE) is (in my experience) very limited in its support for embedded Javascript. The Opera browser is supposed to support embedded Javascript fully, so you might need to buy that and put it on.

Given these two factors, you might want to think about a more traditional phone, especially if, as it seems, you don't need pda-type functionality.

i do like the functionality of a keyboard...makes my life much easier to type/text/email, whatever....so, traditional phone is out of the question .
