mercury rectifier
I doubt you'll find any radio that uses a mercury rectifier,
because mercury rectifiers produce a lot of RF energy
and would powerfully interfere with reception.
Mercury rectifiers were used in other things, including test equipment,
such as my Hickok 752A tube tester, which has two rectifiers:
an 80, which is a vacuum type, and an 83, which is a mercury type.
I know someone who had, and may still have, a large mercury rectifier
that was used in an industrial application. Strange-looking tube.
