so im trying to make a motorized bike that i can still pedal if i turn the motor off so my dad said i should make a fan belt one and so he said i need to fins a sheath/pulley/drive rings i found one on a website for 40 bucks but i wanna fins a cheaper one. a fanbelt a throttle twist grip and the rest i can find

i don;t know what you are talking about lol, but when it comes to motorized bike i would go for this kit http://media.photobucket.com/image/motorized%20bike%20kit/devrou/bike3.jpg it is expensive but i love it =D street legal with out a license

Hi what you need is a kit engine with a clutch. That way you pull in the clutch lever and lock it so that you can pedal normally
