This occurs when two or more computers on the same LAN network end up with the same IP address. When this occurs, both computers end up not being able to connect to network.Usually a yellow triangle on your notification bar which indicates that your computer unable to connect.Try right clicking on the icon and selecting "repair". This should tell the laptop to automatically reset the IP address. If it is Static IP request your ISP for a change of IP.If it is a Dynamic IP you can try resetting your modem by switching ON and OFF the modem. This will usually resolve the issue if the IP address is bad or if there is a conflict with another machine. You can check for the change in IP through Ip-details.com before and after resetting the modem.he duration to the change in IP depends on your ISP.Also, check your internet browser settings to see if your computer is trying to connect through a "proxy" or if there is some kind of setting that is causing your computer to not connect. Try a different browser than the one you usually use.
If the problem still persists then you can contact your ISP and request for a solution.
