    Food A level - healthy dessert ideas for primary school children aged 5-11?

    Hey I would really like any ones help with my coursework as i have thought of numerous ideas but just wanted other people's views and ideas. Any ideas welcome. Please stick with the HEALTHY theme as this is what c/w is based upon whether the dessert is low in sugar or fat all answer welcome Thank you x

    for sure Portuguese rice pudding...

    a cup of pudding or sticky rice to a ltr of milk
    Bring to the boil and simmer until cooked with a few long pieces of lemon peel.

    stir occasionally so it does not stick. When rice cooked add sugar or honey to taste, and crack in a large egg WHILE HOT so it cooks through thoroughly.

    Leave to cool and serve. - I forgot Vanilla! to taste.

    Cinnamon optional sprinkled on top. My nieces love this, 11 and 4.

    Cold bananas topped with chocolate - dip the bananas in melted chocolate then put them in the freezer over the night!!! i know maybe of chocolate won't seem that healty but these are children so they are still young and need some calories to grow!!!
