I got a 2 hour parking violation and I went to pay my ticket online. The penalty says "0" but it says I have a mandatory court appearance. This seems absolutely ridiculous to me so I'm hoping it is a mistake. Does anyone know if there is any legitimate reason why I would have to go to court for a parking ticket? I live in New Jersey if it makes a difference.
