I ranted and said some things out of line in a question, and now I can't get rid of it. Help!?

Okay, I asked a question about my husband wanting a pet, and I have allergies and am trying to talk him out of it, and anyway, I lost my temper at one answerer and kind of went off in the "Extra details" part when I got mad....

Now I can't get rid of it. I think it's a valid question, and I don't want to delete it entirely. Any idea of how to edit certain parts of it out?

You have an edit function so as long as the question is not resolved, you can edit.

If the question IS resolved, you have to delete it via a violation notice

You can't edit what's already there. You can only add. Your best bet is to remove the question and ask it again.

hi, Mandy S, I think you're a nice person you did that just because you were in one of your moods. Nobody can be 100% perfect all the time. So stop being self-condemned. If you can't get rid of it as they said above then just send a message to whom you thought you might offended. Any kind heart will spare your angry once they know you're sorry for it.
    You'll be fine, good luck!
