heehee! That'd be it!! Nah - I used to watch it in the days of Ange n Den, but haven't seen it for years!!
I don't know. Ledger is completely totally awesome, but I'm not sure the film around him holRAB up as well. Ultimately it's a very good comic book movie, but I was expecting more and admit I was a tiny bit disappointed. Maybe I need to see it again.
It is not just not just Batman-on-film that is reporting that Heath Ledger is going to be the Joker as Latino Review (who first revealed that Brandon Routh was going to be Superman) are stating that the offer last night was officially made to Heath Ledger to star as The Joker in the sequel to Batman Begins!
Very funny!
I was just reading this on Moviehole website about the casting of the Joker:
"But today, now, this week, these are apparently the contenders for the role of the clown prince of crime, aka The Joker, in the next
I thought Blade Runner was a bomb?
If the Heath Ledger rumour is true, wonder if that would have an effect on Gyllenhaal's possible casting either positive or negative (assuming he is in the running). Might want to avoid him for the reason you mentioned, or could decide it'll help sales.
Heath Ledger actually starring in a movie with Christian Bale at the moment. Such a small hollywood world hehe
I did say 'similar'....
I don't understand, why people who didn't actually know him(fans etc) are still upset at seeing a stranger on screen because of his death... or really upset in the first place... If you met him or knew him, then fair enough.
That might just be me.
Early estimates for yesterday's U.S. box office take were $60m, that then rose to $63m and now $66 million is being reported! So, even if they've overshot that estimate a little, it looks like it's got that opening day record in the bag. (Previous record being $59m.)
