Big Black and Nation Of Ulysses if you haven't already.
I need some new treadmill music, something like system of a down, uptemo modern heavy rock, suggestions?
I'm familiar to few albums by the RHCP, but as I got deeper into the history of their evolution, and got to know the individual merabers, I got to John Frusciante's solo career, and I LOVED his debut album, like really diggin' the suff.
As I'm not much experienced with the RHCP discography and their style evolution with all the merabers changing, all I wanted to ask: which of their albums truly show the Frusciante style or vibe?
Listen to Low and just immense yourself in it's beauty.
Hey all, I've been looking for some music similar to the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack, and other chant/orchestral music with a fantasy vibe. If any of you happen to know a little game named Dominions 3, it has some decent examples - I know, a video game, but seriously not that bad of music for a game.
I've managed to find a French band, Artesia, they have some good stuff . . . but I would like to have a few more options - preferably well known enough to get a Pandora station rolling.
Thanks!
Okay, duh, Pandora has the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, good enough to get a station started. But if anyone has any suggestions they think are just great I'd still check it out.
I will start with the first one and go from there. Thank you.
I'd have never slotted My Chemical Romance into the metal genre... there really isn't anything particularly "metal" about them...
Some good swing revival?
I've only heard Squirrel Nut Zippers
