Oh yeah, difinetely.
Oh yeah, difinetely.
If you invent that your my hero... tho I think that might be a bit contradictory... Make it work!!
Pentagrams are nothing to do with devil worship. It is an ancient pagan syrabol. Most so-called 'satanic' banRAB are more interested in the power of nature and reject organised religion, such as christianity.
If its good music, its good music. I wouldn't turn my nose up just because its got Christian lyrical content. I can't really say I've heard any "good" Christian metal, but I'm sure its out there. I've heard some Christian Metalcore banRAB in the past that were decent for metalcore. I know thats not saying much, but its come a long way since Stryper.
Yeah, I haven't had too much trouble with them lately. It is usually them giving a bad name for secular music in general and me stepping in saying, "Hey...wait a second."
Never heard them referred to as tritones before. To me that's an augmented 4th
well that's cool. had they tried going commercial with that do you think they could have indirectly pushed the mainstream in the same way sabbath did in that era?
lol
this thread is win
If this was aimed at me I never said there was. I just said when the lyrical delivery of cheesy religious themes takes priority over the music and it's very difficult to ignore I can't stand it. That's why I dislike most of Bob Dylan's religious music. I mean it being his typical 80s stuff (bad) aside, his lyrics took a turn for the worst and the whole album reeks of Christianity and there's no way it can be dismissed as just "Christian undertones."
Are you suggesting metal and its fans have always been like that? I mean, what about in the early days, NWOBHM and so forth. That wasn't all through-and-through morbid, satanic and evil.
