    T-Mobile 3G: Not Until 2007

who is tmo behind in the US market? Verizon and sprint?.... who to my knowlage still use cdma.

and if att EDGE is faster then my tmobile one, then it would be as fast as my 6meg Comcast cable...... a page rarely take more then 30 seconds to load...

you do realize that att really doesnt have the fewest dropped calls right? that award went to tmobile.

your whole statement was ridiculously biased.

    T-Mobile 3G: Not Until 2007

Biased? I am a tmobile customer with 2 lines. It seems you are a bit confused as to potential EDGE speeds and actual given speeds. comparing your cable line to any EDGE connection is pretty far off. 3G provides comparable speeds to cable, such as Verizon/Sprint running Evdo A.

    Just to share some facts:

-its not if ATT's edge is faster.. it is faster. AT&T gave it an upgrade in the weeks leading up to the iPhone to prepare for the oncoming strain to the network that would happen with all the iPhones on the network pulling the heavy bandwidth videos off youtube and web browsing. this information is easily verifiable through almost any tech site (I'd suggest looking at Engadget). one EDGE network isn't blowing another EDGE out of the water, but there is a speed difference b/t Tmo's and AT&T's.

-tmobile is behind all major carriers in the US market in network voice/data coverage area, customer base size, and network speeds (the only one of the big four not to have a launched nationwide 3g network).

who mentioned anything about the fewest dropped calls?? this is a discussion about 3G and related discussion to data services. It seems my post might have gone a bit over your head =0/

All of this doesn't make me happy in any way. If rim doesn't develop a 3g phone then what's the point of a network. I'm not Willing to leave my BB for a speed boost.
If rim would please step out and do develop a nice 3g phone then that would be heaven.
I don't want to have high speeds on a razor, eekk.

There are 3G cdma blackberries, just not gsm. If you can't wait, you could switch carriers and enjoy the 3G action that Verizon/Sprint offers.
