The bible is the only document that tells you that there is a God. How else could we possibly argue without pointing out the flaws in it?

wait. it's humorous that in order to debunk the claim that the bible is true we have to read the bible? that's the logical way to go about it. would you prefer we just ignore what the bible says as we point out how the bible is completely scientifically inaccurate? how does that even make sense? do you even think about your Q&As at all before you type them up?

I find it humorous that there are so many christians on this site that haven't got a real clue on what they are talking about. They are so mixed up on the bibles scriptures and generally do not see reason or the message that is being given through the scriptures. They also are to quick to judge anothers belief or religion without having the facts.

It is ironic, yes..
But - at the same time I bet you more times than not the Atheist is on the defensive rather than the offensive - being outnumbered n'all. I can relate.

I think people should study a broader spectrum of religion before they speak out on it.

There are courses in college that study magick, witchcraft and folklore. Many Christians take the course just to learn. Not to practice. - it doesn't mean the students of that class are converted religiously. I've even picked up a book on Scientology just to see what the fuss was about. Actually my biological father sent it to me - from the mental institution (now thats ironic). I've also read books on Shamanism, Buddhism. I'm a proud, strong educated Wiccan, and I go to church every now and then, nothing wrong with it.

The only intelligent way to debate a topic, is to know the topic.

Well, you see, unlike some Christians, I don`t know, maybe, you, atheists tend not to argue out of ignorance. We pretty much like to know the whole story to avoid making a knee jerk statement, like, I don`t know, this question.
Plus how are we to demonstrate the absurdities and contradictions that you allow yourself to foolishly believe as true without quoting those absurdities and contradictions.

You don't have to be smart to disbelieve in gods.
But you do have to be pretty dumb to believe in them.
