I agree these devices arent meant o compete with the nexus ones, or iphone 4's of the world, they are full featured phones for cheap prices.
I do completely agree with the social networking comment.

On M4E?
I'm starting to like that.. Directory..
Nice, hadn't seen this yet. After looking at the video I'm intrigued by the new homescreen and social network/chat integration. Finally more RAM as well.
It's too early to be the replacement for the E72, plus they can't expect us to accept this after the E71 and E72....
at least I hope they don't....
But my E72 just destroys the Bold 9700 for speed using Opera. Wifi is it a tie. But 3G it is not even a contest. WAAAAY faster... Stupid Blackberry is still thinking about connecting to 3G and the E72 is done. Screen resolution is of course nicer on the Bold for browsing.
Well then aside from a hd2 or a nexus one what else is high end?
Exactly which is what I was trying to say over a couple of posts back
However a couple of posts later didn't see it that way. Which I respectfully disagree.
It really is the follow up to the E63.
Now they have a similar pair to what they had with E71 and E63 with the E72 and E5.
Price is good, and looks better (as usual) than the leaked spy pics. And yeah, the homescreen, social network integration etc. seem to be evolving to something fairly nice even in the non-TS/older Symbian devices. Of course its just a promo video that I've seen so far.

No "status alert" little indicators on the contact pics as far as I can see in this video..
ps. To me the most significant announcement of today was C3, the S40 qwerty.. Euro 90!! Now that is REALLY cheap and could sell in massive numbers in many markets and certain segments, depending of course how good/bad the email/messaging experience really is. Btw, "Conversational SMS".. is that the (too) long awaited threaded messaging?
But you could customize it to open something else, like Skype or something.
