This looks like a cute film...even with the pig nose
I've been waiting for this movie since I had heard about it a year ago, and finally got to last night! :yay: I really liked it. But apparently the DVD has cut some stuff out of the theatrical? If so, I'll wait and see if a special edition comes out before purchasing it.
I want to see this movie so badly. I think that one of these days I will either rent it or order on On Demand. Its looks amazing!
I've seen it. It's adorable and sweet. James, Christina, and Reese (well, everybody) did a great job.
It killed me how all these guys were acting like Penelope was so hideous and unkissable and grotesque, and she wasn't nearly as awful as all that...she's actually kinda cute with her pig nose.
Loved James' American accent.
[sp]The "You Are My Sunshine" scene with all the instruments was *great* - and so was the chess scene through the mirror. The kiss toward the end of the movie was EXCELLENT![/sp]
I bought this on DVD today (uk release is earlier i guess)
and i love it! James' accent is perfect and i the art direction in the movie was stunning - i adored Penelope's room!
though to me it seemed quite obviously filmed in London - with loads of english actors too, i got kind of confused as to where it was set, presumably NY?
The tagline is beautiful and I love the pics of James McAvoy.
I hope you guys seen Penelope already because it is just great. Everyone did since a great job. It really is a modern day fairytale.
The DVDs here at least are different, so I'll be waiting for a special edition or something. out:
Ooh, love those pics of James, especially the first.
Thought I'd bring the poster by.
The tagline is great: "What makes us different makes us beautiful."
Agreed. I don't think I would have liked this movie so much if James hadn't played the role of Max.
