Terminator 3

Caught it last week in the states and enjoyed it. Not as groundbreaking as the first two but good in its own right. There are a number of laughs which you'll either enjoy or demise as being a parody.

Like the fact it plays on the fact that arnie as a T-800 is an obsolete old machine and past it whilst the new T-X is slicker/faster/stronger etc. Wasn't sure how the fact its a woman smacking arnie around would look on screen but in the end its been done really well. Couple of overlong screens (first car chase for example) but apart from that its fairly short and snappy.

Story was much better than i expected. Without going into details I liked the way it explained the timeline aspect. Can't think of a good way to explain it but essentially its something along the lines of because person A doesn't do something it doesn't mean person B can't come along and do the same thing 10 mins/10 years later. On watching the film hopefully what i've said above will make sense!

T3 is rated 18 so don't expect any watered down action. I think it goes without saying that this movie is going to be the bees knees, no hype needed the movie will speak for itself.

I really enjoyed it - it was linked into the other two movies as well as being a stand alone movie - very good visuals . Excelleant film.

It's a different Terminator. In effect, Arnie has played three different characters in the three films, all with the same name as he's fresh from an assembly line.

Going back to the 12A rating, I think that sucks big time. If there planning on cutting it down id rather just download it and see the real version, even though im very much against downloading films cause i love to see them in the cinema.

When the DVD of terminator 3 is released, which will probably be febuary 2004, will that be cut aswell? and do you reckon they will bring out a 2 disk special version of it cause it would go well with the other films i got.

No it's 12A uncut. It's still quite violent though because it's R in America.

I thought R was 18?
