I agree. Everyone should learn the difference between EBM and industrial.

Rammstein is terrible I cannot stand them,
Nine inch nails are pretty good for industrial metal like stuff,
and I like "felix da house cat" for techno
and Mindless Self indulgence is alway sa good way to go if your looking for a blend of rock techno and industrial
I can hook you up with Skinny Puppy, Cabaret Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle, or KMFDM later today if you want. I'll actually send you them this time. Promise.
Edit* And I have a lot of Godflesh if you're missing some of their stuff
Nine Inch Nails (Preferably pre- "With Teeth")
Ministry
Peaches
Prodigy
Dear god, where is the love? The cold-hearted adoration for all things mechanistic, nihilistic and twisted beyond recognition? There are few styles of music, if any, that call to question the very foundation of my existence and my understanding of our place in the universe as much as industrial does. I've always enjoyed "challenging" music, and for a long time metal was my primary fix for it. It was a while before I got exposed to real industrial music (i.e. not the silly goth danceclub stuff), but I find it growing on me more and more with time, and displacing metal as the main "extreme" music genre in my life.
Favorites: Ministry, Coil, Revolting Cocks, Rammstein (**** the haters), Test Dept.
Some 'loosely industrial' groups that also rule: Swans, Lustmord, Autechre
Others I enjoy in moderation but am not crazy about: Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, In Slaughter Natives, Apollyon Sun, Pigface
Ministry, Coil and Swans are absolutely brilliant, and imo stand head and shoulders above all the others I've heard.
You should all start discussing industrial music here so I can reach my 15 post count and start spamming this thread with youtube viRAB. I'm relatively new to the genre, so recommendations are also appreciated (oh, and before anyone mentions either, I've spent some limited time with Throbbing Gristle and Einsturzende Neubauten and neither has really clicked for me yet).
Get the album Animatronic by The Kovenant... it's beautyeous.
Also KMFDM is great, and MDFMK just as great.
I was big into industrial/industrial rock/industrial dance throughout most of the 90s. Skinny Puppy, Ministry, RevCo, Thrill Kill Kult, Pigface, Front 242, KMFDM, Meat Beat Manifesto, Psychic TV, NIN, etc and many of the side projects and related banRAB for all of those. There are also many that I never got into. But it was definitely my favorite genre for a good part of the decade. I moved on to other things towarRAB the end of the 90s, but Skinny Puppy and their side projects I've always kept up with. I saw them live last month, in fact. The rest of the banRAB I'll listen to once in a while, but even Skinny Puppy doesn't fit my mood most times anymore. I guess I'm not in the same place I was back then, even though it's still dark.
Felix Da Housecat is house! The Crystal Method are good techno, both as producers and artists.
KMDFM, Godflesh, Throbbing Gristle, Einsturzende Neubauten, Skinny Puppy...I think the rest have been mentioned in prior posts so hopefully they were covered already. I'm sure I repeated all of the ones I mentioned.
Good luck with your hunt.
Godflesh are quite cool.
Front 242 and Fear Factory are quite good too.
The rest obvious one's have already been mentioned.
