Thread: Quick question about signal and diff sats

There are three cables from the dish and 2 of them are sat 91. I highly doubt both cables just went "bad".

While the third was still perfect...

But a bad SW21 or SW34 would not be good for reception.

Point is..

Only one goes through the switch the other doesn't and both receivers report the same signal strength on the same transponders.

Is this how it is hooked up right now.?

I think SensFan and I have the same connections.

Two receivers in the house, one being a 6100. The standard definition box receives a direct run from lnb 91. The 6100 has a sw21 connected to it.

If that's the case and BOTH receivers show the same problems it is very rare that the LNBF is defective on BOTH sides at the same time.
