True, but heaviness is an attribute that can be found in everything from metal to punk to even some prog.
So I'm guessing this is the Grunge Topic huh?
actually i just got done playing a game that you killed zorabies and it was kinda stuck in my head
what you never saw someone listening to Nirvana with the blank stare of nothing on there face
I recall reading once a long time ago that the Melvins invented grunge by switching from being the fastest band around to the slowest, more-or-less overnight. Of course, I may have read that in ROLLING STONE, so take it how you will.
So yeah , back on topic then
read my blog im ready to kill
it was a rant, but you know - it's just him saying what's on his mind and I thought it was good. We've heard it before, but everyone has their own angle. It's like punk - its like all music. Technically speaking, you cant define it with one word because it's far too deep and is fuzzed out by the hype and post-modern gaze surrounding everything now. We're far more conscious of it all too.
Interesting times...
All the feminists i've met have pissed me off, with the possibility of one but I don't know if shes a feminist or not. They bitch about gender equality and womans rights but are all for oppressing men. The hypocrisy is amazing
Mudhoney and Nirvana, I suppose. But then again, what the hell is grunge, anyway?
Soundgarden's pretty good too, but I think they have a lot of filler.
