As much as I support the death penalty, I think its inhumane as well. What makes one man representing the state be able to decide that somebody deserves to die? I think except in extreme cases we should just lock em up and throw away the key.

let me clarify. that crime that was in the news a few months ago, where "they" kidnapped those two college kids on a date, and then proceeded to torture them over several hrs. fuck yes. make it public.

having them anywhere near the public is a bad idea. finding them work to do inside the prisons should be easy. but america would never do it. it's too cruel.
