We were all complaining back then about the oil companies RECORD PROFITS at our expense. They should always be forced to reinvest in equipment upgrades/safety. If they aren't forced to do it they wont do it, and we all pay more and more and more...

He should just nationalize the oil companies and not have to worry about these pesky private companies to act in the interest of the country.

He can use the republican strategy and just claim it's for "National Security"

Now they've halted drilling on the second relief well and plan to use its BOP to try to connect it to the top of the damaged one. I think they're really getting desperate now.
